Messianic Times Directory
The Messianic Times Congregational Directory has
always been an integral part of the newspaper, and was an important
part of the vision of our paper. Starting with the first issue in 1990,
the directory has grown as the Messianic movement has expanded.
The congregational directory has enabled new
congregations to post their address, contact information and times of
services. It has helped many people to quickly find a congregation
whether its their home town or going to services while on vacation. It
has also helped believers to find a local congregation to visit in the
event they plan on moving to a new location.
Some states have multiple Messianic
congregations and synagogues; some states have a few. Sometimes this
makes the difference to someone who is moving. Many people are able to
contact the congregational leader and obtain some helpful information.
Many congregational leaders have told us that people literally walk
into a service holding The Messianic Times. What a blessing to be used
in this way!
In the past 10 years, many congregations have
added their web sites to their listings. These web sites are quite
informative and give a more complete picture of what the congregation
has to offer; i.e. focused on teens, senior citizens, Russian speaking,
etc. We encourage all of our readers to read the web sites of different
congregations in order to get a full understanding of how diverse
Messianic congregations can be.
We also want to encourage our readers to let
the congregational leader know that you found their congregation in The
Messianic Times Congregational Directory. This is very encouraging to
the Messianic leaders who list their groups with us.
If you found your present congregation through
The Messianic Times Congregational Directory, we would also like to
hear from you by emailing us. If you have an unusual testimony
involving The Messianic Times Congregational Directory, please let us
know and we will consider using the story in one of our issues.
As we continue to update and improve, we invite your ideas and opinions so we are able to serve you better.
We look forward to hearing from you,
THE MESSIANIC TIMES STAFF
