“I looked, and behold, a storm wind came from the north, a great cloud with flashing fire and brightness all around it, and something like a glowing alloy out of the fire.” Imagine thousands of Jewish worshipers left the Temple following their Shavuot service, having just read that passage from scriptures in Ezekiel, chapter 1, verse 4. The Jewish families from all over the known world had gathered for the pil- grimage feast, each group with its own language and subculture. As they passed by a building with an upper room, or were in that room themselves, they experienced the manifestation of the written prophecy from the book of Ezekiel. This experience definitely got their attention.
