These communities consist of groups within Orthodox Judaism who strictly adhere to Jewish law as opposed to modern practices and traditionally shun the use of the internet or smartphone. In today’s covid world, however, they are increasingly visiting online sites to shop, study, and video chat as the virus forces them to stay mostly at home.
