Holocaust Survivors Find Peace and Purpose in Yeshua

Behind every name is a story, and those who survived the atrocities of the holocaust—one of the darkest times in history—have much to share. Each of their stories is unique and needs to be preserved for future generations. Survivors who share their experiences give us insight into forgiveness, perseverance, and the strength of the human spirit. Many have harrowing tales of overcoming pain and suffering, along with others focusing on the kindness of strangers, moments of joy amid the darkness, and the feeling of freedom after persecution.

The Holocaust, the systematic murder of six million Jews, which was one-third of the Jewish population, by the Nazis, had a massive impact on the religious beliefs of those who survived it. After allied forces liberated and freed the victims of this tragedy, many tried to move on with their lives. However, the survival of the atrocities they experienced changed them greatly and deeply affected their belief and faith in G-d.
