In 2012, while serving as campaign manager for Kari Dziedzic’s reelection to the Minnesota State Senate, Omar tweeted, “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel,” ascribing psychic powers and evil intent to the Jewish nation.
